Phost Club - Postcard Swap at Phono Stage in Balmain
Description
If you’ve been looking for real conversation and a place where connection feels honest, you’re welcome to join us this Sunday.
Phost Club is a Sydney-based slow meetup where people connect through words, not profiles.
You’ll write one postcard, swap it with your pair, and let that moment begin a conversation that feels a little more real, the Phost Club way.
📮 This week’s prompt: What does "being an adult" mean to you?
We all grow older, but at what point do we actually feel like adults? Maybe being an adult has less to do with age than we think.
This week, we’re curious about what being an adult means to each of us, and whether we see ourselves as adults now.

📅 Sun, 20th Sep · 1PM to 3PM
📍 Phono Stage, Balmain
💌 Here’s how our meetups usually flow
1) Write a postcard
We begin with a quiet writing moment. Everyone spends the first part of the meetup writing a postcard, a small chance to slow down and reflect.
2) Swap postcards with someone new
You’ll exchange your postcard with your partner and let those handwritten words spark a genuine conversation.
3) Connect freely
After the swap, feel free to move around, meet others and let the afternoon unfold naturally.
A small note
Please arrive on time, as everyone will be paired with a postcard partner. If you’re running late, please send us a message so your partner isn’t left waiting:)
Photos and videos from the meetup may be used for Phost Club content. If you prefer not to be captured, just let us know anytime.
We’d love to spend the afternoon with you, with good coffee and warm people :)
