Event description

Catlin Langford, curator of Auto-Photo: A Life in Portraits, has sorted through thousands upon thousands of photobooth strips throughout her research – there may not be a more qualified person in Australia to lead a workshop on photobooth self-portraits!

Following a tour of the exhibition, you will be invited to create your own photobooth strips of self-portraits based on works in the exhibition. Each participant will be provided with two photobooth strips included as part of the workshop. A range of props and art tools will be available, and participants are encouraged to bring props from home.

These are ticketed workshops, registration is essential.

Catlin Langford is a curator, writer and researcher specialising in photography. She has held a range of curatorial and educational positions, including at the Centre for Contemporary Photography, Victoria and Albert Museum and Royal College of Art, London, among others.
