Photography Competition - Epacrids 2025
Event description
Australian Plants Society – Mornington Peninsula Group will be holding a photography competition at the 15th FJC Rogers Seminar – Epacris 2025.
All photographs must include a recognisable plant from the Sub-family Epacridoideae, more commonly known as Australian heaths.
Go spotting with family & friends or scroll through your files and send in a few. Encourage children or grandchildren to take some shots and enter.
No need to be a professional - closeups or from afar, digital, film or phone– all photos are eligible.

The competition will be held on Saturday 2nd August at Peninsula Community Theatre, 91 Wilsons Rd, Mornington, 8.30am to 5pm.

Cost: $5 per photo. No restriction on number of entries. (each ticket is equal to 1 entry)

Entries Close: Wednesday 23rd July 2025.
Photos must be delivered by close of mail Wednesday 23rd July to APS Mornington Peninsula, PO Box 339 Baxter, Victoria, 3911
or dropped off on Friday 1st August between 3.30pm and 5.30pm to Peninsula Community Theatre, 91 Wilsons Rd, Mornington.
*Prints including mount board must be no larger than 22cm x 30cm.
*No canvas mounted or framed photos will be excepted.
*All photos must be securely mounted on matt board no thicker than 5mm.
*Photos must be labelled in the centre back of board with exhibitor’s name, address and phone number along with class number, age group and species name.
*Exhibition will close 5.00pm and all entries can be collected between 5pm and 6pm Saturday 2nd August or will be posted.
*Any photo without prepaid postage and not picked up on 2nd August will be destroyed.
