Description

In this fun and interactive 60-minute workshop, children aged 5 – 9 years will discover the basics of photography while exploring their creativity and imagination. Through simple hands-on activities, inside and outside the venue, children will learn how to take great photos. No prior experience is needed just curiosity and imagination!

Children must be living or schooling in the Town of Victoria Park to be eligible for the workshop.

Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Please bring your own device to the workshop e.g. mobile phone, digital camera, tablet.

This workshop is part of the ‘My Community Through My Eyes’ project where children and young people, living or schooling in the Town of Victoria Park, have been invited to share what they love about their community by submitting a photo or short video showcasing people, places or moments that make the Town of Victoria Park special. The submitted photos and video clips will be used to create a community film which will be shown at the Community Outdoor Movie Night on Sunday 26th April.
