Description

This fun and interactive free 60-minute photography workshop introduces young people aged 10 – 18 years to the fundamentals of photography. Young people will learn how to use a camera or smartphone effectively to capture strong images. No prior experience is needed just curiosity and imagination!

Young people must be living or schooling in the Town of Victoria Park to be eligible for the workshop.

Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Please bring your own device to the workshop e.g. mobile phone, digital camera, tablet.

This workshop is part of the ‘My Community Through My Eyes’ project where children and young people, living or schooling in the Town of Victoria Park, have been invited to share what they love about their community by submitting a photo or short video showcasing people, places or moments that make the Town of Victoria Park special. The submitted photos and video clips will be used to create a community film which will be shown at the Community Outdoor Movie Night on Sunday 26th April.
