Photography workshop: Lighting with Softboxes!

Join us for a day of mastering one of the most important photographic tools for lighting! Softboxes come in all different shapes and sizes.

During this live illustrative workshop with master photographer Ian van der Wolde, we will use various Profoto strobes with various softboxes to create stunning photos!

We’ll discuss the best settings for your camera and your light.

We'll talk through the different types of softboxes and how to effectively use them to create stunning phtoos. We'll teach you differences in shape and size and how this affects the mood of your photography. We'll teach you where to place your light, how the shape and size of your softboxes affect your subjects and how to evoke different moods using different softboxes. 

By the end of this workshop, you can:

• You'll know how to use single or multiple softboxes to create
• How to select the most flattering light for specific subjects.
• How to evoke mood and feeling in your shots.
• Pick the correct settings for all sorts of lighting in different environments.
• You will feel confident about setting up your softbox for your shots!

In this workshop, we will use the Profoto B10X, Profoto B10X Plus, and Profoto Pro-D3 to show you the best strobes in the business combined with some great softbox options whether you are familiar with Profoto or you use another system, this workshops knowledge will be able to be used with all different strobe lights!
