Photography Workshop Series

Stella's Gallery is hosting a series of photography workshops for those interested in doing a deep dive into all the essential theory and skills required for capturing your own photographs! 

These workshops will be facilitated by professional studio photographer Sev Guden.

Please bring your own camera for this event - we will have only limited spare cameras for those who do not own one.

Workshop 1: Foundations of Photography

• Understanding the different cameras, their functions and terminology, ISO, Shutter speed, aperture
  
• Exploring image size quality, white balance and familiarising self with manual controls 

Workshop 2: Expanding Your Horizons

• Specialised approach into portraiture and still life 
• Understanding compositional elements; rule of thirds, framing, foreground - background
• Deepening exploration of light; Chiaroscuro, light Rembrandt, Butterfly and more 
• experimenting with photography style
