This free, one-off masterclass provides Years 11 & 12 students with a structured session on forces and motion (and applications), mapped to the VCE curriculum.

It will cover the following aspects of forces and motion, as outlined in the curriculum:

Explain changes in momentum as being caused by a net force.
Model the force due to gravity.
Model forces as vectors acting at the point of application.
Apply Newton's three laws of motion to a body on which forces act.

This masterclass will be presented by experienced tutor Shabana Thahaseen, who specialises in helping students build conceptual clarity in physics. She focuses on:

understanding why equations work
visualising physical systems
breaking complex problems into structured steps
building exam-ready problem-solving confidence
