Annie Burbank Piano Concert

20th Century Classics Re-imagined with Annie Burbank!

Join us for this wonderful concert with Blue Mountains' pianist and musician, Annie Burbank. 

You'll hear a range of classics from the 20th century as well as some of Annie's original compositions. There will also be chance for Annie to take requests from the audience. 

On Saturday 28 September 6-8pm at Good Earth Bookshop Wentworth Falls. 

Annie Burbank was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. She studied piano from a young age with Bruce Rixon and the higher levels at the Sydney Conservatorium with Miss Eunice Gardiner, earning the Licentiate diploma in Piano Performance from the Trinity College of London in 1985.  Annie completed the Bachelor of Music degree from The University of Sydney in 1988. A working musician for over three decades performing piano at hotels and restaurants in Australia and overseas, Annie has also been teaching for many years privately, as a regional conservatorium staff member, and as a high school music teacher. As the resident pianist at Echoes Restaurant in Katoomba and The Hydro Majestic Hotel, she currently performs every weekend. Annie is gradually putting her repertoire online with weekly uploads to her YouTube channel (Annie Burbank Piano). While teaching, performing and live streaming weekly, Annie also creates remarkable and lush original pieces for piano and other instruments.
