Welcome back John Granger Fisher
Brisbane-born John Granger Fisher has established himself as one of Australia’s foremost concert pianists. A winner of international, Australian, British and American piano competitions and musical awards, John has performed at prestigious venues around the world, including Carnegie Hall.
Beginning piano lessons at the age of four with his mother, John went on to study with John Winther, Natasha Vlassenko and Oleg Stepanov. He continued his studies in the USA at the Hartt School, University of Hartford with Oxana Yablonskaya and Boris Berman and at the Royal College of Music in London with Vanessa Latarche.
in 2013-2014, John was unanimously awarded the RCM Gold Medal for piano – the Chappell Medal. he has performed extensively throughout the UK, and appeared as soloist with Australian, American and British orchestras and ensembles.
