Event description

In June year our One Night Stand celebrations were put on ice due to you know what...

So this December we pick up where we left off and will be presenting a month of Friday celebrating our favourite party: Picnic One Night Stand.

First of the block, and for our first nightclub dance we present two One Night Stand guests who have spent decades cultivating a scene our city deserves. They have played on every stage in the city and thrown some of the sickest parties to go down in history. It’s only fitting that we ask them to play the our first dance back and re-kickstart One Night Stand 10th Birthday celebrations.

Please welcome these legends...

Simon Caldwell B2B Kali

Who could say they’ve played alongside the likes of Grace Jones, Moodymann and Frankie Knuckles? It could only be Simon Caldwell. Simon has spent 2+ decades sharing music with the masses, known for his 12-year residency on Monday Sunset on FBi Radio and copromoting Mad Racket since 1998. Basically, Simon is the don of house music in Sydney. Set after set after set, he never disappoints.

Kali is the one and only lady behind Picnic. She’s a seasoned DJ having spent decades in the booth that have resulted in features on Boiler Room and performances at Sydney Opera House, Sydney Festival and Subsonic. Her desire to push Sydney’s underground scene to the tip of everyone’s tongues is what made her start Picnic and 13 years later, the parties just keep getting better and better.

Believe us when we say that this is a night you don’t want to miss. Simon Caldwell and Kali will be creating memories to last us until the ONS 20th Anniversary!

To really bring the dance to life we've asked STELLYG and Kelly Lovemonster to host the night and - just in case you forgot - show you what moving your body looks like.

WE. ARE. SO. EXCITED.
