After blowing our minds at NYE we knew we had to invite Air Max’97 down for a One Night Stand, and so we have!
Air Max `97
Dutch born, New Zealand raised and currently Sydney via London based, Air Max ‘97 is a singular artist in the electronic music landscape. He’s been releasing music since 2014, mostly on his own DECISIONS label as well as the likes of Timedance. Rhythm is at the heart of everything he does and his sets are hypnotic, percussive and alive with energy as he moves from experimental sounds to sub-heavy bass to twisted techno. His sets are made all the more special with the inclusion of countless unreleased tracks, edits and blends.
We here at Picnic like to joke that Tokyo Sing Song is our own personal rave cave and we can’t think of a more perfect fit than Air Max `97 to take us on a journey deep into the night at his debut One Night Stand.
