Picnic Patch

Rethinking textiles as a medium for soft painting, sculpture, and collage. From visible mending to quilted accessories this workshop will give you a chance to stitch a small textile piece from fabric offcuts. We will look at various techniques including cardboard templates for geometric patchwork and using simple running stitches and appliqué to create collage layers and texture. Light refreshments will be provided.
