Join the CLFS Perinatal, Infant and Child team for three free antenatal classes!
This is a space for expectant parents to learn more about transitioning to parenthood and gain support in a small and friendly group setting.
This group programme will cover:
Matrescence – the transition to motherhood.
Parenting Anxiety.
Identifying supports.
Common challenges.
Supporting Dad’s and Partners.
Self-care.
Our classes are unique in that we will only lightly cover the birth and labour process in these sessions - our classes are preparing you for life-long parenting as that's our area of expertise!
Free to attend. The three-week blocks are run multiple times a year, registrations are essential as places are limited.
This block:
5th, 12th, 19th – AUGUST
From 6pm-8pm at St Johns Community Rooms.
These sessions are designed to build on one another, and attending the full series will ensure you get the complete benefit of the programme.

As part of these classes, you will receive your free Baby Box at the end of the three nights from Baby Box Queenstown. If you have already registered for this box, please opt out when registering for our classes.

- Do I buy 1 or 2 tickets?
When registering you can opt to bring a partner/friend/support person - this lets us know to expect the right number of people. You do not have to register for two tickets.
- Do I come to all three nights?
Yes absolutely! By registering for this programme we expect you to come along to all three nights. Sometimes life gets in the way or someone goes down with a bug, but please let us know if you are going to miss a session.
- What is the Baby Box?
Baby Box Queenstown is a fabulous local charity that supports new families when a baby arrives. They give a bag full of baby essentials to every first baby born in the Queenstown Lakes District.
We will submit your details on your behalf, so you receive your bag at the end of this antenatal programme.
If you are ineligible or have already registered for a bag, please opt out during the register/checkout process.
