PIE Toronto Fundraiser: 2nd Edition
Event description
Come join PIE (Project Initiative Ethiopia) in Toronto for a fun-filled evening of live music, trivia and delicious Ethiopian food. We will have three band performances, a raffle with special prizes, and an educational trivia game! Food and drinks will be available for purchase from our host, Wazema Restaurant.
Proceeds from this event will go to support PIE's educational projects in Afar, Ethiopia, for the upcoming school year 2025/26. These include our computer training program, gender club activities, and solar energy projects at three primary schools and one high school in one of the poorest and most underfunded areas of Ethiopia.
Come to learn more about our work to give children a better future and support a good cause while enjoying live music and food at one of the best Ethiopian restaurants in Toronto! You'll also have a chance to win special prizes via our raffle.
Doors will open at 6:30pm, with trivia starting at 7pm, followed by a short video presentation about PIE, and live music from 8:30pm by Raheleh, Lucastro, and Rima and the Bees! Raffle winners will be announced at 9:30pm.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
