Lineup

  • Luke Currie-Richardson

    Luke Currie-Richardson

Luke Currie-Richardson is a proud Kuku Yalanji, Djabugay, Mununjali, Butchulla, and Samsep Meriam man. For over 14 years, he has shared powerful Indigenous stories through dance, photography, spoken word, fashion, and film. He has toured nationally and internationally with Bangarra Dance Theatre and Marrugeku, working alongside artists including Stephen Page, Francis Rings, Dalisa Pigram, Ghenoa Gela, Jacob Boehme, Joel Bray, and Wesley Enoch. In 2023, Luke debuted his choreography GEDOVAIT as part of Stephanie Lake's Escalator program.

  • Helen Herbertson

    Helen Herbertson

An influential figure in Australian dance Helen Herbertson has worked across many facets of the arts profession including significant periods as a choreographer, artistic director, independent producer, program curator, project manager, educator, mentor, board member and artistic advisor. She is in essence, a choreographer, creative collaborator and performer with dance as a constant since childhood. Helen’s imaginative choreographic work regularly presents in national and international festivals and she continues to craft a range of events with a continuing passion for the power and connection that dance-based experiences can offer.

  • Martin Hansen

    Martin Hansen

Martin Hansen is a choreographer and dancer working in Australia and Europe. Their work frames the body as a dynamic and imperfect archive, and, through choreographing relations with a diverse range of performative, extant, and ephemeral materials, they critically explore memory and time through figures such as ghosts, haunting, suffering, and monsters. Martin’s solos and group works have been presented nationally and internationally.
