PILATES FOR PURPOSE

In January, I’ll be going with a group of teachers to volunteer with the Dayamani Foundation at Dayamani Joseph English Medium School - a school for disadvantaged children in India.

The organisation in Australia is run entirely by volunteers and is a registered Not-For-Profit that fully supports educating, housing and food for 26 full-time orphans and 37 day school students.

Please join me for a morning of Pilates for Purpose where I will lead you through an hour mat pilates class (I am a trained and registered Pilates Instructor, trained through Polestar Pilates). All money raised from ticket sales will go towards supporting a special project that we will develop when we are in India in January based on identified needs. In the past, volunteer groups have raised money for COVID-19 medical resources and care, repainting infrastructure, replacing fans and fixing school gates. These may seem like small changes but to the students and orphans who are cared for at Joseph English Medium School, each project has made a huge difference to their quality of life, safety and education.
