Pilates in the Garden - Wednesdays and Thursdays - Summer 2023

During summer Pilates is moving outside to Veale Gardens to enjoy the fresh air and our beautiful park lands.*

On Wednesday or Thursday (10.00 am to 11.00 am) from 11 January to 23 February 2023 inclusive, join Pilates facilitator Sue for a slower paced class suitable for all abilities.

Please note that there will be no class on 26 January due to the public holiday

Meet Pilates instructor Sue by the large pine tree in front of the Walyu Yarta community garden which is off of South Terrace approximately 50 metres behind the rose garden and Veale Gardens Plaque. Please refer to map below.

Sessions will begin at 10:00 am sharp therefore please ensure you allow enough time to walk to the location, so you arrive on time.

Alternatively, you can meet Sue at the Minor Works Building Community Centre (22 Stamford Court, Adelaide) at 9:30 am and she will walk over with you. 

At each session please:

    • Bring mat 
    • Bring water bottle
    • Wear comfortable clothing 
    • Wear sunscreen and a hat
    • Importantly Have Fun!
    • $10 Adult / $5 Concession bookings need to be made for every session

Bookings are essential as places are limited each week.

Hot Weather and inclement weather policy applies if on the day of the session the weather for Adelaide is forecast to be 32 degrees or higher or if it is forcast to rain, the session will be moved to Minor Works Building Community Centre (22 Stamford Court, Adelaide). If you are unsure about the weather, please call the centre on 8203 7801 the day before.

Parking is limited along South Terrace so we recommend catching the tram to South Terrrace and walking or other public transport or if you drive and park please review the signage carefully before.

If you are new to Pilates you will be required to complete a health questionnaire with the instructor before beginning.
