      Pia Hazelwood

Pia Hazelwood is the founder of Perth Kids Hub, an online resource designed to help parents find paediatric professionals for their children's development, learning, and mental or physical health needs. Pia, a late-diagnosed adult with ADHD, is also a parent to two neurodivergent children. With first-hand experience navigating medical and educational systems, Pia has advocated for her children through various challenges, including diagnostic pathways, school can't, transitioning schools, and repeating a school year. Her passion for supporting families stems from her family's journey of finding the right resources and professionals for their children. Pia created Perth Kids Hub to make it easier for families to discover where to go, what to do, and who can help when concerned about their child's development. Through Perth Kids Hub, families can search for paediatricians, child psychologists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, assessment providers, and group programs. The platform also allows parents to refine their search by availability, telehealth options, mobile therapy, and specialists in specific developmental concerns.

      Susan Hughes

Susan Hughes is an accredited ADHD parent coach who works with both parents and teachers of children with ADHD. As a parent of a child with ADHD, who is now a young adult, she understands the unique challenges that are part of this journey. It was because of her own parenting challenges that she returned to university to study ADHD. She completed a Master of Education in 2017, and there’s nothing like writing a thesis to ensure an in-depth knowledge of ADHD, coaching, and parenting. Susan uses this unique combined knowledge & lived experience, to work one-on-one with parents, as well as deliver her ADHD parenting program “The Confident ADHD Parent Formula”. Developed to provide parents with up-to-date, relevant information about ADHD, the program teaches effective strategies that work for children with ADHD and supports parents in integrating these new skills into everyday life through group coaching. The program aims to optimise parenting strengths to meet the additional needs of children and adolescents with ADHD. In addition to her work with parents, Susan collaborates with teachers & schools to equip them with the tools and understanding needed to support students with ADHD in the classroom. She offers guidance on practical strategies that benefit both teachers and their students, helping create more inclusive and supportive learning environments and reduce stress for both teachers and students.
