Price FREE Get tickets

Event description

Trinity College invites you to the inaugural gathering of PINC (Parents for the Inclusion of Neurodivergent Children)!

At this special event, we will welcome Claire Britton, Director and Principal Occupational Therapist at Neuroinclusion. Claire will be sharing an overview of neurodiversity, what the key principles of embracing the evidence-based neurodiversity-affirming approach and the multi-facilitated challenges and supports for the success of all students. By doing so, she provides a holistic perspective into the need for advocacy and empathy for the entire community at Trinity College. With the research being less than ten years old, this is a pioneering approach that accepts everyone as their authentic selves; rather than attempts to promote conformity. By being more educated on neurodiversity, the Trinity College community will foster a more inclusive, accepting, supportive and regulating environment for everyone to thrive and achieve success.

This is a FREE adult-focused presentation for parents/guardians only (no students on this occasion).

Places are strictly limited for this event. If sold out, please email events@trinity.wa.edu.au to be added to the waitlist.
