Trinity College invites you to the next gathering of PINC (Parents for the Inclusion of Neurodivergent Children), which will focus on “Strength and Connection: Navigating Big Feelings, Together”.

At this event, we will welcome Yvonne Kilpatrick - Psychologist, and Director of Amherst Psychology - who will provide information on how adults can help all young people to manage intense emotions (plus self-manage emotions during difficult parenting moments), which works towards strengthening familial relationships.

This is a FREE adult-focused presentation for adults only (no students/children on this occasion).

Speaker bio: Yvonne Kilpatrick (BA, GDipAppPsych, MAppPsych)

Yvonne is Amherst Psychology’s Clinical Director, focusing on ensuring clients and clinical team have a great experience at the practice. She considers it a privilege to be part of the changes clients make in their lives and, as an autistic ADHDer, she has a special interest in adjustment to neurodivergence diagnosis / self-identification for adults. She also has a strong interest in parenting and presenting to professional and community groups on topics related to mental health, neurodivergence, and parenting. Yvonne has a Masters in Applied Psychology (Clinical), and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR).
