    Event description

Join us for the launch of a new narrative in Australia.

We are excited to invite you to the inaugural event about the global transition - an inspiring and action-oriented gathering aimed at uniting our local Geelong business community around real, impactful environmental, climate and circular solutions.

We have seen businesses benefit from a shift towards a greener economy, and with current political changes, businesses will soon be forced by legislation to join the bandwagon.

Would you like to learn about how your business can benefit from becoming part of the global transition?

Why are we excited about this?
As climate change accelerates, businesses across the world are stepping up to address the urgent need for sustainability and decarbonisation. In Denmark, the phrase ‘den grønne omstilling’ has become a unifying language for climate action, empowering citizens, businesses, and government to work together toward a decarbonised and circularised economy. It’s time for Australia to do the same.

The global transition is our collective response to this immense challenge to all businesses world-wide, in Australia, and in Geelong. It has the potential to create that framework and language which is needed to unite all sectors and levels of our society in pursuit of that greener, cleaner and healthier world.

    What to expect:

    ●    Keynote speakers: Hear from local leaders, sustainability experts, and innovators who will share practical solutions and success stories from both Australia and abroad.

    ●    Workshop with panel: Participate in an interactive session focused on actionable steps you can take in your business to become part of the global transition.

    ●    Networking opportunities: Connect with like-minded individuals, business owners, and government officials who are committed to driving the global transition.

    ●    Launch of the global transition campaign: Be part of the movement as we unveil a local strategy to accelerate the business shift toward clean and renewable energy, sustainable transport, and a circular economy.

    Why the global transition matters
The global transition is about building a narrative in the broader society - a narrative that can lead to a collective mindshift in society. Our success with implementing the global transition depends on collective action. We want to enable change at all levels, which includes influencing policies, creating sustainable business models, engaging our media in this vital transformation, and demonstrating positive change within our own direct spheres of influence

Together, we can show that climate action, apart from being an urgent necessity, is also an opportunity to create a vibrant and prosperous future for those in business who are catching the drift and rolling off with it.

We hope you’ll join us for this important event and help lead the global transition in our local Geelong and Surf Coast business communities.

    Best regards,
    Mik Aidt
