Event description

Primary prevention in Victoria has a proud history of grassroots engagement that has increasingly led to a diverse sector of skilled primary prevention practitioners and organisations coming together to lead and grow this work. The regional primary prevention partnerships convened by women’s health services have been a key part in supporting grassroots primary prevention across the state. The Respectful Gippsland Partnership; is one such example of grassroots primary prevention through partnership.

Join Gippsland Women’s Health and the Partners in Prevention (PiP) Network,
convened by Safe and Equal for an interactive discussion to launch this new and exciting primary prevention partnership, Respectful Gippsland. Come together to hear about and discuss the central role of partnerships to advancing primary prevention across Victoria.

Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided.

Audience

This event is aimed at partners in the Respectful Gippsland Partnership and members of the Partners in Prevention (PiP) Network along with organisations working in primary prevention across Gippsland and Victoria.

Event aims

The aim of the PiP and Partnership morning tea is to increase the visibility and valuing of diverse primary prevention activities happening across Victoria. This event, in collaboration with Gippsland Women's Health and Safe and Equal will launch the Respectful Gippsland Partnership and highlight the importance of regional partnerships in advancing primary prevention. By creating a space for connection and collaboration, this event will promote Gippsland Women's Health partnership approach, connect PiP Network members, and amplify local efforts at a statewide level.

Evaluation

Following the event, there will be an evaluation survey emailed to all attendees. We ask that you please complete this survey so that we can understand what worked well, how we could improve in the future and other topics and activities that could support you in your practice.
