Pirrku Explorers Christmas

December– Christmas

Pirrku Explorers is Storytime in the garden followed by a child-led session where families can move from activity to activity in their own time and at their own pace. Activities are suitable for children approximately 2-7 years of age. Children either play alongside, talking with their carer, or perhaps discover friendships with other families. This month's theme for our stories, songs, activities and crafts is Christmas.

The Kaurna word for story is pirrku and Pirrku Garden is the name of the garden area at the rear of the Evanston Gardens Library.  This program takes place (weather depending) outside in the Pirrku Garden. The area has dappled shade, so we recommend hats and sunscreen. If the weather is not suitable, we will relocate inside the library.
