Pitch for Good Banyule 2026 - Pitch Night!

Are you passionable about helping for-purpose organisations THRIVE in Melbourne's North? 

Join us for the 2026 Pitch for Good Banyule event, and hear from 5 local changemakers and their pursuits for social impact. Instead of giving all the decision-making power to a panel of judges, Pitch for Good empowers you as a member of the audience to select your favourites and donate the value of your ticket to their project.

Rather than a traditional judged pitch competition, Pitch for Good gives community members a direct role in deciding where support goes. Attendees receive donation tokens to allocate to the organisation or organisations they most want to back, with Banyule City Council matching all donations generated through ticket sales dollar-for-dollar, turning every $30 ticket into a $60 contribution.

Your ticket becomes your vote, going directly to the projects you choose to back. 

Our crowdfunders are:

• Barrbunin Beek Aboriginal Corporation is raising funds pilot various cultural products, to test their market whilst simultaneously developing community connections. Fundraising goal: $10,000

• Mental Jam is raising funds to deliver free game co-design workshops with young people in Banyule, helping participants contribute directly to the development of Bobarista, a cozy game about mental health and wellbeing. Fundraising goal: $15,000

• Art Connects is raising funds for a new gallery - creating a home for exceptional art and real and opportunities for talented artists with disability through access to buyers, commissions, and sales. Fundraising goal: $10,000

• The Fabric ReStore is Melbourne's only dedicated fabric and sewing supplies recovery centre, and needs help to stitch our place into the fabric of the sustainable sewing community in Banyule and beyond; space to stash, recycle and grow our impact. Fundraising goal: $12,000

• GOODSERCLE is seeking support for a GOODSERCLE pilot rescuing, refurbishing and rehoming essential whitegoods to support local households, reduce e-waste and GHG emissions, and create paid hands-on work opportunities for people facing barriers to employment. Fundraising goal: $12,000

Join us for engaging pitches from local changemakers, delicious food from local social enterprises (included in your ticket price) and energising conversations with other audience members who want to support positive change in the northern council region of Melbourne. In addition to the night's presentations, there will be stalls run by local social enterprises for you to browse and purchase from. 

Pitch for Good Banyule is a proud collaboration between StartSomeGood, Banyule City Council and Community Bank East Ivanhoe. Banyule City Council and Community Bank East Ivanhoe are equal supporting partners, and passionate about supporting the social enterprise network in Banyule and the Northern Council Region of Melbourne, Victoria.
