Pitch for Good Parramatta 2024 - Pitch Night!

Are you passionate about supporting positive change in Parramatta?

Join us for the 2024 Pitch for Good Parramatta event, and hear from local changemakers and their pursuits for social impact.  The presenters have been given training to create an engaging crowdfunding campaign on StartSomeGood to raise funds and garner support to help get their project off the ground.

Instead of giving all the decision-making power to a panel of judges, Pitch for Good empowers you as a member of the audience to select your favorites and donate the value of your $30 ticket to their project.  This amount will then be doubled by the City of Parramatta, so your $30 becomes $60, which will then go towards kickstarting their crowdfunding campaign.

This on-and off-line combination of campaigning for their impact project helps them overcome the greatest challenge in crowdfunding – how to get the early traction which validates their idea and carries their story far enough to succeed. Be part of supporting their success by buying a ticket and voting on the night.

In addition to the pitches there will be stalls run by local social enterprises and food included in your ticket price.

Pitch for Good Parramatta is a joint partnership between StartSomeGood and the City of Parramatta Council with a purpose to support early stage social entrepreneurs get their impact ideas off the ground in the Parramatta Council area.
