Pitch for Good Parramatta 2026 - Pitch Night!

Are you passionate about supporting positive change in Parramatta? What if your $30 ticket could become $60 for a local impact project?

Join us for the 2026 Pitch for Good Parramatta event, and hear from 5 local changemakers and their pursuits for social impact. Instead of giving all the decision-making power to a panel of judges, Pitch for Good empowers you as a member of the audience to select your favourites and donate the value of your ticket to their project. Your $30 ticket becomes your vote and thanks to support from the City of Parramatta and Gateway Bank, your contribution will be doubled to $60, going directly to the projects you choose to back.

This live event is part of a longer collaborative program delivered by StartSomeGood and the City of Parramatta. Now in its 10th round in 2026, the program has supported dozens of local changemakers to develop their ideas into launch-ready impact projects. With StartSomeGood’s support, our five presenters have developed crowdfunding campaigns to share their story, rally supporters, and secure the funds to launch their projects. Our annual Pitch for Good live event is a highlight for both the program participants and the broader Parramatta community who get to join in for the night!

This on-and off-line combination of campaigning for their impact project helps them overcome one of the greatest challenges in crowdfunding: how to connect with their local community, and get their story out to potential contributors. Be part of supporting their success by buying a ticket and voting on the night.

Pitch for Good Parramatta is a joint partnership between StartSomeGood and the City of Parramatta Council with a purpose to support early stage social entrepreneurs get their impact ideas off the ground in the Parramatta Council area. In 2026, we're proud to once again have Gateway Bank as a sponsor.

Gateway Bank’s support for Pitch for Good Parramatta aligns with our Pocket & Planet purpose — encouraging ideas that make a positive change within the communities we serve. By helping local changemakers bring purpose-driven ideas to life, we’re supporting initiatives that strengthen communities, promote sustainability, and deliver lasting value for the people and places around us.
