Pitching And Professional Communication Masterclass - Next Gen Awards 2023

When it comes to building a business, or any project, communication is key. You need to be able to communicate your ideas clearly, and effectively to potential clients, investors, partners, and anyone that may ask.

In this masterclass, we will be working with students to look at how they can build engaging pitches for their ideas and projects. We'll be looking at strategies to help your pitch stand out from the crowd, tips on how to structure your pitch, and information on how to tailor your pitch to a range of different audiences.

The masterclass will cover the key elements of a successful pitch, including how to create a compelling story, how to use visual aids, and how to handle questions and objections. Students will learn how to craft a pitch that is tailored to their audience and how to deliver it with confidence and credibility. They will also learn how to use body language and tone of voice to communicate their message effectively.

Additionally, the masterclass will cover the different types of pitches such as elevator pitch, pitch deck, and video pitch and how to use them in different scenarios. Hands-on exercises and real-world case studies will be used throughout the program to provide students with the opportunity to practice their pitching skills in a realistic setting.

About Your Presenter:

Maddie Panther is the Program Manager and Lead Facilitator at BOP Industries with a background in Business, Media & Communications and Teaching. Having been with BOP Industries for over 2 years, Maddie is passionate about empowering the next generation of young professionals to reach their full potential. Straight out of high-school Maddie completed a double degree in Business (marketing major) and Media & Communications. In mid 2022, she added Masters of Teaching (Primary) to her list of degrees. Maddie is incredibly enthusiastic about mindset and personal growth and enjoys connecting with students and having thought-provoking conversations about their interests and future aspirations.
