Join us for this relaxed, introductory session, where special guest speaker Intifar Chowdhury will help us unpack what's happening in Australian politics, chat about why it matters and explore how you can make your voice heard on issues that matter to you.
Whether you're getting ready to vote for the first time, new to the political scene or just want to understand things a bit better, this is a friendly space to learn, ask questions and get talking, while enjoying some delicious pizza!

About our Guest Speaker
Dr. Intifar Chowdhury is a Lecturer in Government and Youth Researcher at Flinders University, passionate about promoting better political representation of all young Australians in our democracy. Her political commentary on youth politics has appeared in diverse media platforms, including The Conversation, The Guardian, The Canberra Times, ABC's Q and A, Al Jazeera English, Democracy Sausage Podcast, Triple J Hack, Reuters and more.
