Tuiloma Lina-Jodi is currently the Principal Advisor, Cultural Practice Lead for the Ministry for Pacific Peoples based in Wellington. Tuiloma was the first appointed Human Rights Advisor for Pacific Peoples at the Human Rights Commission in 2017.

Tuiloma is the tulafale/speaking orator matai title, granted from her maternal grandfather’s village of Sapunaoa, Falealili, Upolu, Samoa in 2003. Tuiloma is a multi-linguist. She is fluent in Gagana Samoa, te reo Māori, Tongan and has proficiency in Cook Islands Māori nō Rarotonga, Gana Tuvalu, Gagana Tokelau, Vagahau Niue, le français and is currently learning Vosa vaka-Viti, Fäeag Rotuᾳm and Te taetae ni Kiribati.

In 2020 Tuiloma was able to recover completely from womb cancer and will hopefully be able to restart and finish her PhD studies. In this webinar she will share with us her insights into creating inclusive teaching and learning environments for Pacific learners.
