Planet Local Film Night at Currumbin Ecovillage

Event description

Join us for a screening of the short film PLANET LOCAL: A Quiet Revolution, and a community discussion.

This 50-minute film gives voice to a growing number of people working to protect and restore their local economies, their communities and the natural world.
"Beyond the mainstream media, on the ground in every continent, a quiet revolution is emerging. People are seeking community, collaboration - ways of life that nurture the natural world instead of destroying it - farmers markets, regenerative agriculture, community banking, community exchanges..."

Along with the screening, enjoy a Q&A and empowering discussion with Anja Light from Local Futures, Adrian Nathaniel (sustainable finance), Sally Wood (The Curated Space - a collection of local artisan crafts) and others.

We are aiming to keep this simple with a community feel, so please bring some food to share.

Suggested donation of $5 to cover cost of hall
