Planning for Who Comes Next

Succession planning for community organisation boards

who work in the conservation sector

A FREE 90-minute online workshop:

Monday 30 November: 6:15pm - 7:45pm

About:

This practical online workshop helps volunteer boards treat succession as a normal part of the governance year. You will work through the three things every board is responsible for: renewing the board itself, growing your own chair and officers, and being ready for a change in the executive or coordinator role.

What happens if your chair steps down next month?
If your coordinator is away for six weeks?
If the members who have been there since
the beginning decide it is time?

Most community groups have none of this in writing. That is a known gap across the sector, not a failing.

Who is it for:

Volunteer boards, committees and trustees of community organisations. Join with

a colleague from your board if you can.
