Homegrown fruit, veggies and herbs are fresher and more nutritious that what you can buy in the supermarket. Growing your own produce is also a great way to save money on at the checkout.

July is the ideal time to start planning your summer beds! In this session we’ll look at how to plan for what to plant to have a continuous supply of fresh produce through summer and how to choose cultivars that make the most of your space. Session facilitated by Karen Sutherland from Edible Eden Design.

Session will be followed by a seed swap — bring along some seed to share if your have some. We’ll have some summer veggie seeds available for community to take on the day.
