Plant Circle - September

Event description

In this offering, we will sit with a new plant each month. We will create sacred space together, introduce ourselves to the plant, and set individual, as well as group intentions. Participants will have the option to take a small dose of Momo’s handmade tincture. Even though we will not be working with any psychoactive plants, it is not uncommon to have a spiritual, somatic experience. Momo learned this method of plant communication from her mother, who learned it from her family. This offering is open to people of all experience levels and backgrounds.

This month, we will be sitting with Calendula. Before we begin our journey, we will make a Calendula salve together, which you will get to take home. Join us as we delve into the healing powers of this gentle, yet mighty plant!

Momo is a queer/multiracial/Indigenous folk herbalist, witch, gardener, land tender, massage therapist, and birth doula. She learned the magic of plant medicine from her family, and has been working with plants in this way for over 20 years. Throughout the years, she has held many circles and led many rituals. Momo is honored to carry the legacy of her ancestors and share this wisdom with her community.
