Plant drawing short course 🌿 Darebin Parklands

Plant drawing sessions at Darebin Parklands over 5 weeks

6–8pm Wednesday evenings 

A relaxing and creative way into 2025 – and an opportunity to connect with plants, learn with others and find your own way with drawing in a supportive and inclusive space.

The 5 drawing sessions focus on the indigenous plants of the Darebin Creek catchment and what they’re up to during the sunny, dry Wurundjeri season Biderap. Sessions are indoors at the Gleeson Centre and outdoors on short walks in the Parklands.

Fees are ‘sliding scale’ and include all art materials, venue hire, and 10% donation to First Nations orgs 

Sign up for single sessions: $26 to $42

Sign up for the whole 5-week course: $120 to $200
5 x 2-hour sessions (total 10 hours). Includes small discount :)

Jan 29, Feb 5, Feb 12, Feb 19, Feb 26 

Week 1 – Indoors at the Gleeson Centre

Week 2 – Outdoors ‘walk and draw’ in the Parklands

Week 3 to 5 – A mix of both indoors and outdoors

• All drawing materials provided.
• Please contact me with any access needs.
• Please bring your own portable seating, foldable chairs or picnic mat if you would like to sit.
• Please wear suitable shoes that are good for walking over uneven ground, water bottle, snacks, sun protection
