Event description

Plant drawing sessionsย at Darebin Parklands over 5 weeks

6โ€“8pm Wednesday eveningsย

An opportunity to connect with plants, learn with others and find your own way with drawing in a supportive and inclusive space.

The 5 drawing sessionsย focus on the plants that are indigenous to the Darebin Creek catchment and the local ecologies these plants support. Theย cooler, wetter Wurundjeri season Waring is a time of growth for many plants, and is a great time for planting :)

This 5-week course will highlight different ecologies of the Darebin Creek catchment and connect to different habitat restoration activities along the creek.

Come along and enjoy :)

ย Sessions are indoors at the Gleeson Centre.

Fees are โ€˜sliding scaleโ€™ and include all art materials, venue hire, andย 10% donation to First Nations orgsย

Sign up for single sessions:ย $26 to $42

Sign up for the whole 5-week course:ย $120 to $200
5 x 2-hour sessions (total 10 hours). Includes small discount :)
