Drawing workshop 🌿 volcanic plains frog songs
Event description
Drawing workshop 'volcanic plains frog songs'
Join Draw Plants Together for a sensory drawing workshop at the Westfield Grasslands reserve in Fairfield (Yarra Bend Park). The tiny reserve sits up above the Merri Merri on the last little easternmost strip of the Victorian Volcanic Plain. In dips in the lava and dark clay soils, ponds and marshes form. Frog songs!
This is the first workshop where I'm experimenting with a longer format for no extra cost. If you can't commit to 3 hours you can come just for the drawing. Here's the plan:
Arrive here at 2:30pm to familiarise ourselves and settle in, go on a gentle walk around the reserve and find some good drawing spots.
Drawing starts at 3:30pm and goes until 5:30pm.
Sound good? Come along and connect with the ecologies of this place and experiment with drawing in friendly company :)

“Craig was an incredible facilitator. Very gentle, informative approach. Every moment of the 2 hours was enjoyable. I felt safe and inspired to be creative and connect with the plants. The best workshop I've taken”
