    Plant Drawing Workshop – Westmeadows Indigenous Community Garden

    A celebration of Wurundjeri Season 'Buath Garru' (grass flowering)


    A creative 2 hours drawing the plant communities of Westmeadows Indigenous Community Garden.

    This friendly plant drawing workshop will take place in Aunty Joanne Russell’s bush food and fibre garden and will have a special focus on flowers and grasses of the Volcanic Plains.

    Join the fun, connect with indigenous plants and experiment with drawing in this beautiful place in celebration of the Wurundjeri Season ‘Buath Garru’ (grass flowering).

    • All drawing materials provided.
    • Please contact me with any access needs.
    • Please bring your own seating, foldable chairs or picnic mat if you would like to sit.
    • Please wear suitable shoes that are good for walking over uneven ground, water bottle, snacks, sun protection
