Plant Hunger Games - Outdoor Theatre at Royal Botanic Garden Sydney

Come meet Arnie, the plant with a veracious appetite, in this seriously silly outdoor theatre in the Gardens. 

Arnie has a problem… he is a plant and just can’t get to the shops to buy the food he loves! He needs your help from the audience to learn the skills he needs to catch fresh food and survive.   

Join in the shenanigans plus learn about different ways plants get their nutrients from their surroundings… and some might be a bit of a… surprise! 

When: Tuesday 15 April 2025 | 11:00am and 1:00pm (50min show)

Where: Lawn near Rathborne Lodge, Royal Botanic Garden Sydney OR wet weather venue nearby if it is very wet. If wet weather is forecast please see your email 5pm the day prior to your show.

Who: Recommended for children aged 2 - 8 years with an accompanying adult

Cost: $18 per person (children and adults) | Foundation and Friends Members $16.50 per person. Children under 12 months free with a paying adult ticket.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Purchase of a ticket online is final. Participants are required to bring a soft or hard copy of their online booking confirmation to the activity.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellation of tickets purchased online. 
• A request for a date change can be made in writing no less than 72 hours prior to the program commencement time. The new event date must be within one month of the original booking date. Approval of a date change is at the discretion of the BGoS.
