Plant Party #7
Event description
Plant Party #7: Jungle Junction
Where All The Wild Things Meet...
After surfacing from the depths of the Sunken Ship, we’ve finally returned to dry land... but something’s not quite right.
Whispers echo through the trees. A legendary bird of paradise — known only as the DeeJay — has been captured by poachers, and it’s up to us to track it down before its beautiful beast disappears forever!!!. This spectacular species creates the most fantastical frequency when excited!!
Two Floors of Creature Chaos | Nibbles and some vegan BBQ bits available from 6pm til it runs out, for all the much appreciated early arrivals..
Cyril’s Safari (Ground Floor) – House music heaven, wrapped in vines and surrounded by the steel bars of the mysterious birdcage where the DeeJay might just be held captive. We must appreciate this rare bird in all its beauty and listen to it's song. This extremely hard to find specimen could be extinct, one very sad day in the future...
Bino’s Basement (Lower Floor) – A darker, deeper descent into techno territory, where the creatures of the night crawl out to dance. Bino (everyone's favorite vanilla gorilla) has also sadly been captured by the preposterous poachers. He's been locked in the basement for a very long time and is desperate to escape!! Maybe we could help!?
Costumes are veryyy highly encouraged but not mandatory, a smile and a vibrant vibration will get through the doors: Come as your wildest jungle creature, exotic bird, mischievous monkey, stealthy sloth, or even a cheeky poacher. Maybe bring something to share with the crazy creatures you'll be spending a night with..
Get ready to sweat, squawk, stomp and swing — because at Jungle Junction, the rules of the wild don’t apply. This will be a grand gathering of the greatest guests NZ has to offer. Creatures will be traveling from far and wide to get a taste of this trip to Jungle Junction. A mythical place that will only ever be available once..
