Plant Science
Plant Science are a Glasgow-based post rock band. Drawing on a wide breadth of musical and personal experience, the seven-piece weave together tender folk balladry with momentous post rock crescendoes and fiery collective improvisation. Born out of both the volcanic Glasgow jazz scene, and its ever changing and revered DIY scene, they have quickly been garnering support and praise across the city. Playing and headline across Glasgow and Edinburgh with only one released single, they are working on a Debut EP release to drop later this year.

Carsick Charlie is the indie-folk project of Joseph Innes, whose unreleased demos earned him an
EU tour support with indie band Florist in January 2023. The debut EP ‘Angel’ released to acclaim
in Summer 2023, and Carsick Charlie went on to support acts such as TinyUmbrellas, @, and Allegra Krieger before releasing another 2 singles, ‘Big Blue’ and ‘Roswell’, in April 2024, which received praise from BBC Introducing. In 2025, Carsick Charlie has been named in Vic Galloway’s ‘Artists to Watch’ list, supported folk artist Clara Mann, and released ‘C2: Metamism’, a new concept EP exploring the Roswell conspiracy, which was accompanied by a unique collaborative art exhibition/ambient installation taking place over 3 days at Glasgow’s The Alchemy Experiment.

Jude Norton-Smith is a contemporary singer-songwriter based in Glasgow. With a unique sound rooted in folk and jazz, their music is a re-enchantment of classic acoustic storytelling and balladry. Their delicate fingerstyle guitar interweaves with wry, honest lyricism in an intimate world of texture and harmony, all of which is sharpened through thematic underpinnings of ecology, love, community and queer subversion.
Both on stage and in recording, their songs are often uplifted by wonderful close collaborators on instruments such as viola, piano, and woodwinds. After a few years performing around Glasgow and beyond, their debut EP Wild Grass was released on December 13th, 2024. FFO: Nick Drake, Junior Brother, Naima Bock, Maddie Morris
