As we approach the darkest night of the year we will sit in community and commune with the spirit of Juniper. Juniper is a spirit that always reaches out to guide me at this seasonal moment.

They are a brilliant, steady, guiding light, to help us remember our strength and perseverance of the spirit during the longest and darkest of times.

We will create ceremonial space together, and call in the spirit of Juniper. As we share in the plant medicine via the tincture, we channel insights for ourselves, one another, and the collective. The group journeying space creates a strong container for the medicine of the plant to come through.

You will have ample time to sit in silent meditation to connect with the spirit of Juniper, and there will be time to share our experiences at the end.

These spaces provide the pivotal practice of trusting our intuitive inklings, and receiving validation of them within a community setting. Being in intentional space to honor and listen to the plants is an ancestral practice that helps us remember how to be in relationship with the forces of nature. It is a practice that is greatly appreciated by the plants, and it feeds our deep, soul-selves.

Amy Terepka is a bodyworker, earth medicine practitioner, priestess, writer, and teacher in Portland, OR. She has has been a student of the plants for close to 20 years, and has held ceremony and taught plant spirit medicine for the past 12 yrs.

She has a deep understanding of the connection between the body, mind, and spirit, and is passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their bodies and the Earth, particularly with the support from the plant realms.
