Event description

Take part! @ EARTH HOUR celebration

#MaketheSwitch for nature this Earth Hour.

Every year, we count down across the globe to celebrate Earth Hour and take one iconic action: switch off the lights! But Earth Hour is so much more than that. It is a symbol of unity and hope. It is a symbol of power in collective action for the Planet.

PLANT WITH US – In our first planting event this year, Randwick’s Greening Our City project is also supporting this year’s Earth Hour celebration – the world’s largest movement for the Planet. This year’s Earth Hour we invite you to come along on Sunday 27 March to celebrate with action.

We’d love you to join us and help green our City! This year, we’re creating endless opportunities for you to get involved in planting trees and groundcovers across our City. Come along, get your hands dirty and learn about the plants and how they help create habitats for living creatures.

If you are interested in getting involved in planting trees and groundcovers activities across our City. – sign up here!

Randwick Council is hosting a series of events aimed at increasing native and indigenous vegetation across our City.
