PLANTING 2026 at Iramoo Wildflower Grassland Reserve

Become a Biodiversity Builder.  Join the collective effort to plant at least 1,500 grassland wildflowers at Iramoo Wildflower Grassland Reserve. Every wildflower you plant is a source of pollen and nectar for grassland invertebrates, creating food and habitat for a healthy population of Striped Legless Lizards. 

Join us for a Walk on Country with Joe Costello, an inspiring Cultural Educator at the Wurundjeri Woiwurrung Cultural Heritage Management Corporation.

The restoration of this unique ecological and cultural landscape is an intergenerational knowledge sharing project, supported by the Cairnlea Conservation Reserves Committee of Management, Moondani Balluk Indigenous Academic Unit at Victoria University, the Friends of Iramoo and Basalt Buddies.

Please bring suitable footwear, sunscreen and a water bottle.  Tools and gloves provided.

A light lunch will be served.
