Planting along Riddells Creek

Price FREE Get tickets

Event description

Come along on Sunday morning, meet and chat, laugh and hang out, all while planting regenerative plants along the Riddells Creek which runs along the southern side of the oval at Tony Clarke Reserve.

Riddells Creek runs from the Macedon Reservoir right through the township, it wraps around the southern side of the oval, crosses under Waterfalls Road, flows through to cut under Mt Macedon Road at Centennial Park. It then flows through the Bolobek property, picking up all the other creeks that flow down the mountain, and eventually heads to its namesake, the town of Riddells Creek.

We will be planting in an area that has been prioritised through a comprehensive council environment management plan, which can you can read here  (You don't have to read all 189 pages, just search the document for 'Macedon').

Free but please book for insurance and planning.
