Planting at Hillcroft Park

Join us for a morning of community connection and environmental restoration!

This planting day is a wonderful opportunity to work alongside your neighbours, pick up some practical skills, and learn firsthand why a diverse range of indigenous plants is vital for a thriving ecosystem.

Participants of all ages and experience levels are warmly welcome.

What’s on the Agenda:

- Welcome to Country: We will begin the morning with a Welcome to Country by Aunty Annette Xiberras.

- Bee Hotel Workshop: Katrina from Buzz and Dig will lead an insightful talk on native pollinators, followed by a hands-on bee hotel-making workshop.

- Community Planting: Together, we’ll plant indigenous grasses, shrubs, and wildflowers to support and enrich our local environment.

What to Bring & Provided:

What to bring: Suitable footwear, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle.
Provided: All necessary tools and refreshments will be available.
