Event description
Join us at Belair National Park to learn from expert ecologist Phil Barron on how to best assist with regeneration and restoration of local ecosystems. The four S’s of diversity for habitat revegetation.
This workshop will involve an indoor presentation followed by a walk in Belair National Park to carry out some site assessments and discuss next step approach. Come dressed in suitable, comfortable clothing and footwear. Don't forget your hat, sunscreen, drink bottle and anything else you may require on the day.
We will provide tea and coffee at the Volunteer Centre. Followed by a shared lunch at Playford Lake. Please indicate any dietary requirements at time of registration.
Please note we will drive our own vehicles from the Volunteer Centre up to Playford Lake for a stroll along Microcarpa trail taking in and observing the biodiversity and natural vegetation.
