Planting - Riddells Creek, hosted by Macedon and Mount Macedon Landcare Group.
Join restoration efforts by planting along Riddells Creek, an ecologically significant site located at the base of the iconic Mount Macedon and forming part of the headwaters of the Maribyrnong River, playing a vital role in the health of downstream ecosystems. Whilst planting native grasses, trees and shrubs, participants of all ages and experience levels will learn about the importance of riparian ecosystems.
Please bring suitable footwear, sunscreen and a water bottle. Refreshments provided.
This planting location is facilitated by Macedon and Mount Macedon Landcare Group.
Where: Meet us at 77 Margaret, St Macedon.
Getting there: Meet at 73 Margaret St Macedon, a 10-minute walk from the Macedon train station (approx. one hour from Melbourne CBD via V/Line train). Parking available near the train station.
