Plastisonic welcomes UK stalwart Electro breaks legend Radioactive Man for a special extended live performance at Melbournes dance music cultural hub Miscellania. Active since the 90’s Keith Tenniswood has appeared on a seemingly infinite number of projects, perhaps best known as a member of the group ‘Two Lone Swordsmen’ working with the great Andrew Weatherall, Keith also co-managed numerous labels such as Control Tower and Rotters Golf Club and now works as a Mastering Engineer at the well established Curve Pusher studio. Keith’s Live set takes a straight from the shoulder approach, leaving modern conveniences behind and using the same classic samplers and synthesisers that he used to create his best music over the years. Known for being one of the highlights of Craig Richard’s Houghton Festival last year, Keith is back on the road in 2024 and after a loop touring through South America we’re excited to make his Australian debut a well and good shout.

On support is local Dj Nat Salih, a great example of the Plastisonic mindset, Nat possesses a deep understanding of the underground electro, techno, house and minimal sounds from the golden era between the late 90’s to mid 2000’s as well as being well aware of and connected to the modern dance music scene context. Expect deep grooves, mechanical breaks and delicate acid from Nat, a seemingly good pairing for the selections of prolific local producer and host for the night Reptant.

Plastisonic acknowledges that land on which we operate is stolen. We pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land, the Woi Wurrung and Boonwurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation in Bulleke-Bek. We pay our respect to their Elders past, present and future and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. Any First Nations people who wish to attend this event will not be charged.
