In this workshop we will cover the basics of how to operate the platform at The Trans Takeover

You'll learn how to read the lifting cast, reliably load the bar with the correct weight, and how to adjust the combination rack.

You'll also learn how to safely spot lifters of various heights and strengths across all three lifts; Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift.

The skills you learn will require you to be very close in people's personal space at times. This is the nature of safely and effectively performing the role of a spotter. Safety comes first, and comfort of personal space comes second when heavy weights are involved.

You must have experience in a gym environment and already know how to generally lift weights safely before attending this workshop as you will be required to lift up to 25kg to head height to load it onto the barbell.
